"Gorgeous Hotel in Malaga. Gorgeously decorated…lots of sumptuous color fabrics cozy places to sit, delicious Meals in a cozy sweet restaurant. This beautifully renovated building is stunning. Our room was layers of color and fabric and comfort with big windows and wide shutters. We adored the people there. Rosa and Maria really made our stay wonderful recommending restaurants and setting up guides for us. They were so responsive every email before our arrival and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t say enough about everybody who worked there. Rosa and Maria in particular! We will definately stay at another Cristine Bedfor hotel based on our experience. Our only note…which is not apparent on the website. The hotel is in the middle of a big brightly lit fancy mall. And that was a bummer for us. It felt like Century City and we really like local when we are travelling. The mall was loud and so brightly lit we had to keep our windows and shutters closed. If we had known where it was located we would have found another spot. But that said it is really convenient to everything. Other people staying there did not seem to mind it. And again the hotel itself is truly stunning. And the people the best."

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Malaga old town. Was really looking forward to the experience and wasn’t disappointed on arrival. A gorgeous reception area to welcome you. Bed was huge and luxurious. Slept really well in well sound proofed rooms. Slightly disappointed in the size of the bathroom and attention to detail with some of the fixtures and fittings. The bathroom bin looked like it had been knocked about a bit. Loved some of the welcoming touches re: reception staff and turning down of beds at night with a piece of chocolate on your pillow. Biggest disappointment though and reason for not giving a 5 was the rudeness of the guy at breakfast. On our first day there was an awkward moment when we asked for a further hot drink just before breakfast ended. The waiter had to insist that the barista guy make us the drink as it was our first day. On the second day he was on his own - a Monday morning and he began to point clients at the self service coffee machine helpfully showing people how to use it - he would be too busy to do barista work that day?!? Anyway the coffee was so awful we went across the road and bought a coffee from one of the nearby cafes. On returning to the hotel other guests leaving the restaurant told me that they’d managed to get proper coffees made by him. Very disappointing poor service which overshadowed the whole experience for me. Breakfast was underwhelming also. Not a vast menu and a makeshift buffet at too high a height on the bar. Won’t be rushing back."
