Atarazanas Malaga Boutique Hotel

"Very friendly staffed hotel, right opposite the wonderful Atarazanas food market and so close to all the sites to see in the old town. The room was designed in a fresh and unique style, the beds were super comfy and the shower was fantastic! We were lucky enough to receive a free upgrade and had a room right opposite the market, with a lovely view up the street to the mountains. The only downside was the traffic noise, which was very loud and kept waking me up, I think better double glazing would help! There were some nice touches including a free drink at the bar, and we were given a bottle of water and some sweets on arrival. Overall, this is a very nice, relaxed hotel in an excellent location!"

"We had asked for a quiet room and were upgraded to a small apartment on the top floor looking onto an internal courtyard. It was very spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The kitchen area with mini-fridge was handy. One niggle was that the kettle lead was too short to reach the worktop, though, and we had to use it on the floor! Location is very good for Metro, main train station and historic area. We used the bar area in the evening for a last drink, prompted by voucher for a discount. It was small and friendly. The breakfast was fine but we have had better. They could do with a larger range of items and a bit more sophistication. Cereals were available for example, but in small packets without much choice of nuts, seeds, different fruits etc. The room near the reception was fine but a bit cramped."

"Great location opposite the Atarazanas market and a 10/15 minute walk to the Cathedral. The staff were lovely and we were given a free room upgrade to a lovely spacious room at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was not included, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance."
