"When there at the start of June for my 60th Birthday with my family. We had 3 rooms between us. The hotel is in a super location with a prom out the front, which you can walk for miles. Our room was spacious and very clean. Yes a little dated, but you could stay that about a lot of hotels. The food was good, with plenty of selection and I never had cold food, always seemed hot enough for me. The biggest bonus was our son is celiac and he was given a separate menu to choice from and it was cook fresh when he got here. The dinning room was quite busy and you sometime had to hunt for a table. This was not helped by the couples or singles who thought it was clever to sit on a table for 6 of 8 on their own unbelievable really. The entertainment was on the whole pretty good, during the day their was plenty of activies and a variety of different acts in the evening. The bar staff were good and normally pretty quick. All in all a very nice hotel. Just so you know, there is not a fridge, kettle or hair dryer in the rooms. The fridge was not an issue in June and we took a kettle and hair dryer with us, so not an issue either. It is definitely good valve for money and the staff were very friendly."

"It was our 2nd time at this hotel and as good if not better than the last. It is a 3 star but definitely the best 3 star I have been to. No rush for sunbeds, empty beds in each of the 4 areas every day. Hardly any queuing for pool bar and soft drinks are self service anyway. Restaurant manager and chefs were very accommodating due to our diverse dietary requirements (GF/Vegan) and they have a dedicated GF menu where you order the food the day before, if we didnt like what was on offer there was always fresh salads and fruits. They were happy for us to take our own GF lager into the hotel and restaurant which we bought from the supermarket opposite, there also a good range of GF/soya foods there. Cant comment on evening entertainment or bar as we went out after dinner. Room ok for the 3 of us, we knew to take a plug strip and kettle. We had a lovely relaxing time and are in the process for booking again next tear."

"After reading lots of negative reviews regarding the food we were a bit apprehensive, however, the food was absolutely fine. Yes, some dishes were better than others but it's a 3* hotel so you don't expect fine dining. Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff work very hard and are very friendly all the time. Location is great and the gardens are lovely. Always somewhere to sit or sunbathe. This hotel is definitely worth the money. Our room was spotless. We had a great stay with no complaints at all. Thank you ."
