Fuengirola Beach

"Stayed here as a family of three for the last week in October. Overall, it was a good week. However, we had a one bedroom apartment, so someone had to sleep in the living room. The beds were really hard and impossible to sleep on for us. Cleaning in the room wasn't very good, the floors in every room were dusty, to the point you had to wipe your feet with a towel before you put your socks and shoes on. We looked under the beds, and there was loads of dust underneath them. Location wise, it is perfect a massive shopping centre just over the road with a massive supermarket inside. You can walk into the town which takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on where you want to be. Or hop onto the l1 bus outside the hotel for 1.20 euro. Every thing else about the hotel was fine staff lovely and helpful. We only stayed round the pool one day because we explore the area and got the train from the town centre to torrelmolinos and malaga, malaga town is lovely we went there twice."

"Second visit here and it didn’t disappoint, booked a 2 bedroom apartment this time and it was brilliant, spacious and clean, (only negative on cleaning was I found beer can, sliders and a robe on top shelf in wardrobe, noticed shine when sun caught can, it was very high up) . On arrival the lobby is clean and welcoming and smells amazing, the staff are lovely from the reception staff, bar staff and cleaners. Rooms cleaned on alternate days with fresh towels and toiletries. The pool bar is open 12-6 and the food portions are huge, there’s happy hour in pool bar and then the main bar. Pool opens at 10, sunbeds were plentiful, no need to queue or get up early, but this was October and a stark contrast to when we visited in August 2022. Pool towels available for 5e for your stay and can be swapped for fresh every day. There’s a games room for kids, gym, laundry and courtesy room that u can book. The massive shopping centre behind is great and the supermarket is very good value for money. It’s a short walk to beach along the river and some lovely restaurants and bars. Reception will book a taxi into centre if you ask and it’s about 5e. October weather is a bit hit and miss but its end of season. Overall a brilliant stay"

"We stayed here from 19th-26th October. We had a fantastic holiday. The whole complex was so clean and and had a lovely friendly feel about it. Our apartment was a good size, lovely bathroom with bath, complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Room was cleaned every other day to a high standard and towels changed. Very handy to have the shopping centre opposite for drinks, snacks from the Carrefour supermarket in there and also for general shopping. Happy hour at the pool bar was between 5-6 and at the lobby bar was between 6-7. Drinks very cheap, 2 Sangria for 3.5 euros, 2 rum and cokes 6.5 euros. We did not eat at the snack bar but food was very reasonably priced. Was a short walk along the river to the beach and the end of the strip, about 10 minutes. Sohail castle is just opposite, well worth a visit, amazing views along the coastline. Is free to enter, limited hours, check the website. We enjoyed a day trip to Bioparc, amazing zoo about a 20 minute walk away. Was like being in the jungle and so many animals to see in such a lovely environment. Would recommend a visit. We went to the Tuesday market which was worth a walk round, full of fake bags, clothes, purses and scarves and lots of other nice bits like clothes & ceramics. We got a taxi to the market from the shopping centre opposite as it was a hot day, cost about 7 euros. We also visited Mijas Pueblo, a beautiful village up in the hills which you can see from the apartments. You can get a bus there from the main bus terminal for a few euros but again as it was hot and the bus terminal was a fair walk away we got a taxi. It is well worth downloading Bolt and Uber apps as they are so much cheaper than ordinary taxis. We got a quote of 20-24 euros from the taxi driver at the shopping centre opposite, using Bolt taxi was only 11.5 euros. Fantastic place to visit, great viewpoints, you can pay 3 euros to visit the Bullring, lovely square full of restaurants to enjoy. They had a great singer on while we had lunch. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will come back as due to weather being so hot we didn't manage to do and see all we had planned."
