Exe Estepona Thalasso & Spa - Adults Only

"We experienced our stay at Exe Estepona as very disappointing. This hotel is offered as a 4-star hotel, but based on our experience, we find that absolutely not suitable. For us, this hotel is worth a maximum of 2 stars. The rooms are very dated and clearly in need of renovation. The appearance and condition of the rooms do not suit a 4-star hotel in our opinion. The breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was meager and several coffee machines didn't work, so you had to be quite patient for a cup of coffee. Also, the location is something to take into account. The hotel is located on an industrial estate, right next to an exit road from the motorway. This is not the environment you expect when you book a hotel in Estepona. Don't be tempted by the beautiful photos of the spa either. Reality is much less beautiful. The spa is very outdated and the fitness room was also a big disappointment for us. The devices were rusty, broken, and very outdated. Some fitness equipment seems decades old. For a hotel that presents itself as 4 stars, we find this downright embarrassing. We ultimately decided to leave the hotel early and arrange other accommodation ourselves. That actually says everything to us. Our experience: absolutely no 4 stars. The photos on the website give a much prettier picture in our opinion than what you actually find. Our advice: don't be tempted only by the photos and the 4-star rating, and look closely at recent reviews before you book."

"Lovely people from reception, neat hotel, but sea is not 600 meters but really 15/20 by car. Bathroom and furniture old meuk. Food was disappointing. Price was good though"
