Gran Hotel Las Fuentes

"We loved this hotel, it had a very Spanish clientele, a far cry from the ‘brits abroad’ vibe which is exactly what we wanted to avoid. Lots of shops and bars shut with it being October but we had a car and had great fun exploring this beautiful area. A short walk (15 mins) into Alcossebre and lots more bars and restaurants were open. If you want a more Spanish hotel and resort then this is perfect ."

"We stayed here for one night and checked out on October 31st. A few hours after check out, I realised I had left my Apple AirPods in the room. I immediately phoned the number listed on the hotel website to ask them to retrieve them from the room. I was told that I had to send an email, so I did that straight away to the email address I was given. I received no response from the hotel so I emailed again the following day. I also sent a picture confirming that the last place my Airpods were located was in room 431 in the hotel which was confirmed on my ‘find my AirPods’ phone App. Despite phoning the hotel, emailing twice and sending photo evidence of their location, the hotel has still not responded. AirPods are expensive items and I knew exactly where I had left them in the room, yet the hotel has not been bothered to respond to me. I can only assume that my AirPods are being kept by the hotel staff and that the hotel does not take protection of customers property seriously."
