"The best thing about the hotel is it's location. Literraly hotel is at the beach so from opening doors to the beach you are around 5 minutes away. Additionaly it's really close from an Airport 30 to 40 minutes transfer. Unfrotunately from good things that's it. As a foreginer(non spanish speaker) it's relatively hard to navigate in the hotel. Receptionist's english is ok, at the bar explaining anything other than standard "naming" is hard. During meals, after first 30 minutes service is very poor, restuaruant is over crowded, personel does their best but simply it's impossible to make it. Food is left at the ground and always you need to ask a weitress to give you additional cutlery as per standard they set up table for two people. Queues are long for everything including fried egg. Food is boring - theme live cooking is not the best and the rest is simply not changing the whole week. Pools - this hotel have 2 swiming pools one deep and one for babies. Deep swiming pool is super hot - literally you feel no difference coming out of 30 degrees around. Baby pool is fine and good for kids 2-7 y.o.. Pool area is always dirty - they do clean up at the beginig of the day but later they don't clean - there is a lot of trash after snacks and from "natural" straw umbrellas that feels down. Hotel is extremely noise due to number of people. Rooms are cleaned everyday and service is doing their best however you can feel it that the hotel was restored few years ago. I have a feeling that there is no regular maintanence. Air Condining smells bad. Room is not small but the way how it's build make it small - you have 2 large beds which does not leave place to open suit case, wardrobe itself is not able to fit 1 person needs. Animations in the hotel are only in spanish and if you want to have sea view, you need to be prepared for extremely noisy 22:00-24:00 animation. In general it's typical hotel that's oriented for local people with great lcation. For me it's more 3 stars hotel than 4."

"The hotel has a great location near the sea. The rooms are clean at first glance, but my room was cleaned three times during my 7-day stay, the floor under the bed was never washed, the cleaning was superficial (i.e. they made the bed, towels and maybe wiped the floor just like that), they pretended to clean the bathroom, although the piece of paper that was lying near the trash can was left lying there). The carpet on the floor in the corridor is not just dirty, but very dirty!!!!! The food could have been better, although the food was different and tasty. The staff in the restaurant is UNWELCOME, with a sour expression on their face, it feels like we came to eat at their home, despite the fact that it was all inclusive, when asked to bring plain water, they looked suspicious. There are no drinks for dinner (except for paid ones). At least a cooler of plain water could be given, or some basic juice. The attitude towards the Spaniards is different, and this is very noticeable There are basic vending machines with drinks like Pepsi on the street, but there is no sign that only vacationers with blue bracelets can use them. A solid three for the vacation!!! The hotel is not worth the money,"

"Have just returned from 10 nights half board at the Best Sabinal and very much enjoyed our stay. It represents good value for money. If I had to guess I would say the guests are 95% Spanish, 4% Dutch & 1% British so consider this before booking - was absolutely no issue for us at all. Positives - rooms cleaned daily, nice pool areas, great location, good and varied food to suit all tastes, friendly staff and a lovely animation team Negatives - sun loungers and umbrellas can be hard to come by in peak season and (the reason for marking down a star) having no drinks at all, not even water, included within the evening meal with half board basis is absolutely ludicrous."
