Hotel Cetina Cabo de Palos Puerto

"We went here for our anniversary. Sadly we only stayed overnight and were not able to get there until later in the afternoon which really wasn’t enough time to enjoy all the facilities neither could we get a late check out because it’s busy in summer I suppose. However, the hotel was lovely. The staff were very nice. The rooftop bar was spectacular as was the breakfast. It was slightly expensive for three star, but walking into everything and overall we were very happy with our stay"

"Having stayed at another Cetina boutique hotel, we went to this one in Cabo de Palos close to La Manga / Cartagena for my husband's birthday and were not disappointed. We chose a deluxe room with large terrace, although it was actually too hot outside to use it! The room was very comfortable and clean, toiletries were provided. The buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with bar and 360 degree views of the area/sea. It's very conveniently located for waterfront restaurants. The underground car park has a cost, I think we paid 28 euros for 1 night, but parking in August in this lovely area is almost impossible. The reception staff were very friendly. I was surprised that no vehicle registration number was taken at check in and maybe more control should be made over the use of the 2 charging stations, in other words, guests should be reminded to remove their car after charging to allow others to use the facility. We arrived at 1:30 pm and a Porsche SUV was still in one of the spots when we left the following day. We couldn't charge our car until the morning we were due to leave. This would be our only point of constructive criticism."

"Could be a 4* hotel barring one big easily fixable flaw. The hotel is in an enviable location with easy access to the harbour. Parking is easy via the onsite car park. The hotel is modern with comfortable rooms and our junior suite had a massive balcony. Breakfast was good....so what's the catch? The hotel is let down by a lack of communication both with guests and it seems staff too. Upon checkin we were told that any incidentals whether it be from the rooftop or lobby bar could be charged to the room. However, having eaten tapas as we were informed that anything more substantial was only available in the lobby bar / restaurant downstairs the rooftop needed payment and there was no facility to charge to the room. Not a big issue but make this clearer to guests. Fast forward to the next evening we decide to go to the lobby bar/ restaurant for dinner to be met with the same selection of meat and cheeses available on the rooftop and this was all they had, contrary to what we had previously been told. There are ample places to try within a few steps so not the end of the world but again communication is key."
