"I don't even know where to start or how to explain it so that you can understand. Words alone can't do justice to what I experienced, you really had to be there and see it with your own eyes.
We arrived at last week 14:30 PM and entered Room at 16:00pm because there were system issues. The queue was endless only one girl at the reception, and I’ve never seen such a slow line. It was just me, my husband, and my brother-in-law with two babies who were crying because they were hungry, waiting for an hour and a half to get into the rooms.
After a long wait, we were asked to pay €35 for a safety in the room €20 to open the fridge (which was locked), and there was no hairdryer. I requested an iron, but I had to pay for two different ones because the first didn’t work—they were older than the Sagrada Familia. The rooms we were given felt like prisons; they lacked light, just a ceiling that you had to duck under to avoid hitting your head. There was mold in the bathrooms, visible on the floors and ceilings, and the cabinets and bathroom smelled terrible.
Having young children and needing to use the fridge or bathroom was impossible because we were afraid they might get sick from the mold or catch something else — it was unacceptable. The air conditioning didn’t work properly; the room A08 was always hot.
I can’t even describe how we felt when we went downstairs to eat. It looked like we were in a prison, with food stacked in a line, much of it the same for lunch and dinner. The yogurt was full of hair, I don’t know what’s going on with this “hotel,” which they want to call a resort. Honestly, it’s neither that nor an Airbnb; they offer no amenities or services whatsoever.
By evening, outside was dirty, full of beer bottles and smelling terrible. Children were shouting in the hallways early in the morning and late at night. I felt like I was in Soho, London full of pubs, beer, and cigarette smoke outside on the balcony.
We had booked for four nights but left a day early because we couldn’t take it anymore. My brother in low he booked for 8 night and he left 2 days early! No one helped us with the problems in the room. When we went downstairs to check out, the girl with red hair didn’t ask why we were leaving, if we liked it or not, she simply didn’t care and just said just a Bye.
We spent so much money to have no enjoyment and to endure such a terrible experience, leaving earlier than planned. It was unacceptable and appalling probably the worst place I have ever visited in my life!!"
