"Fergus Group taking over quite a few hotels im Costa Brava was a massive mistake.My family have been coming to this hotel for the past 3 years and it will sadly be our last. What was once a lovely family hotel is now a prison. Staff are overworked.Most doing the job of 2 people.Fergus have made major cut backs not only with staff but also the food.We had to eat out quite a few times as the food was atrocious.Previously not only was it good quality,there was lots of different ranges of foods.Now its just grease and bones,Pasta sauce no meat in it,odd pairings.Really such a let down. The drinks rule is so silly.Take your glass to get a drink.Yet cups are scattered about everywhere so anyone can grab a cup.No juice machine apart from Breakfast is also bad.Some people dont like fizzy pop why not leave juice on too?or tea coffee.What is the point of the wrist bands too?Why not just colour code wrist bands for half board or all inclusive you can still have your 2 cup rule.Just seemed really pointless. Music around the pool was swearing,sex talk and profanaties not what children should be listening to. A few nights there was no food left or plates or bowls again we had to eat out again. I dont drink alcohol so i had soft drinks but even they were half a glass. Need structure on serving.I queued for 20 minutes for the snack bar to get to the front and be turned away by Chema.Put the red belts accross when you aim to finish dont leave people standing there then send them away. Also we queued to get last drinks at 10:45pm again to get to the front and be told no more this was just before 11pm.I then walked away to then see a few other guests go in and be served after i was told no!I went and spoke to Chema(very very rude)and he told me to go away.I explained its not fair he served after he told me no.He grabbed my cup and filled half of it and practically chucked it at me and stormed off. Snack bar needs more staff.Also needs to work how it did previous starts and finishes between meal times so something is always available. Some days during half term the hotel was packed out this resulted in us having to go elswwhere as there was no room at the pool or food left.Luckily we did as a young 13yr girl was battered by 2 grown men that day.Nothing was done to them they were outside the front throwing fireworks that same evening chucking them by our children our friends child was burned.The security man did nothing both times.He was also very rude telling me i should stop drinking(Pop) and watch my child as my sons friend had sliced her foot open on a piece of glass on the floor by the dinner half that hadnt been cleaned.He hated the kids playing and expected them to stay in one place.They were causing no harm. The rooms used to be spotless and the cleaners do, do a good job but this year our room was covered in splatted moscitos. Im absolutely gutted how its been ruined.Fergus if you read this i would definately change things back becauae everyone i have spoke to only have negative things to say.The only thing you changed for the better was hiring Alberto hes brilliant the kids loved him. *Start buying better quality food *Increase your staff you are expecting too much from them.There needs to be more staff everywhere in the hotel.You are overworking them i felt so sorry for them.Special mention to Eduardo and the lovely lady with dark hair who has worked there years they are so hardworking and still manage to smile. Karim has always been brilliant although he aswell seems to have so much responsibility Alberto fab entertainer. Fegus start putting your money in to the people who run this hotel for you.Its slave labour at the minute its cruel. This time next year if things dont change i can see it dropping to just a 1☆ rated hotel. Fergus affiliateds most recent reviews across all hotels taken over by them are shocking.Such ashame money corrupts people."

"Food was excellent . Most staff very helpful and nice . Close to the beach and strip . Transfer didn't show up so the receptionist told the 4 of us we had to get taxi . Together and it would be 100 euro each traveling together . I smell a scam there to be honest. Got the feeling the taxi driver was in on it and probably his mate .we were running late for our flights so didn't have time to argue or search for our own taxi numbers . There was also a fight at the pool one night but thats wasn't the hotels fault to be fair ."

"We have been here a week and are about to leave early in the morning … and thank goodness we are leaving Food … dreadful, no description of what there is merely a small cardboard picture of a pig or chicken or turkey. No ingredients, no allergens, today there was rice with tiny little prawns in it, no description and great if you have done kings of sea food allergy. Of course that is if there is any food most days the troughs were empty and and lunchtimes “pig” was re classified in the evening with a picture of a Turkey Food was always cold Complete lack of organisation for mealtimes, tonight the queues were out the door (probably only to find out troughs were empty) The Rooms Well .. to say they were small dark and dingy is an understatement.. There are 3 single beds in our room for 2 of us .. so we can either move the beds to get on to our balcony and not be able to use the wardrobe or leave the beds pushed against the balcony and be able to use the wardrobe.. so make a choice .. oh and the light switches are just above the pillows so one little movement during the night and the lights come on. staff do there best but are overwhelmed and understaffed"
