"The All Inclusive bar is the worst we have encountered in 40yrs of travel.First of all you cannot get served in the lounges or seated areas at the pool, you have to stand in queue at the all inclusive stand, whereas the cheaper B&b or Half Board get the table service. What they are serving at the All Inclusive bar is the cheapest spirits,wine, cocktails u can imagine, one draught beer. Not even one bottle of Spanish beer that u can buy for 0. 8 euros in supermarket. Every bottle of spirits on offer you can buy for 5-6euros in shops, absolute rubbish, the whisky is not even 40% so it isn't a Whisky, Gin & Vodka the same tasteless. If u upgrade which is a joke, u get Bold whisky, Ballantynes,& basic Dewars which u can purchase for 10 euros a bottle. These cheap( barato) whiskys should be in all inclusive .not premium whiskies like the Glenfidich & Cardhu which u pay an extra 50% for. We complained at the time, sent two e mails , also filled in complaint form . Never answered back. Shocking"

"We had paid in advance with the association and were placed in a small back room from which we had a view of three elevators. A new room was promised by four different receptionists, but not given, because: not clean yet. Ultimately, the bot was refused. They double-booked our paid room and gave us a staff hut. That is just deception. Never again this hotel. Shame on you, Alegria!!"

"What a great hotel for our 4 night stay! It was a fantastic base for our beach/city/mountain break! (we had a car hire ha!!) Would definitely recommend this hotel. We did spend a little time here and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The best thing was the food, wow - it was the best we have had at a hotel like this (we were half board). Drinks were not included generally - even at dinner (we were unsure if any soft drinks etc. would be!) and we had the dinner here every night! It was all so tasty and freshly cooked - the steak, chicken, burgers, pork - also roast meats available. Options for children (and basic foodies too)... Lots of salad and vegetable options! Yummy cheeses and bread/rolls; everything was amazing! I am gluten intolerant so I tried to stick to the GF desserts etc. They were definitely there (sometimes hiding!) but I did think maybe they could be separated slightly, as sometimes I saw everyone and anyone just grabbing for them (and not reading the dietary signs) and so I would feel that I needed to grab one quick, before they went! Breakfast was great too. Such a big selection! (possibly could have been more fruit but hey... that's a minor request) The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. This felt like a real 4 star option! FYI - car parking was not free (I think it was EUR15.00 a day?) - it was required though, so we paid it upon arrival. The bedroom was fine; just what we needed. Clean and big enough. Beds were comfy too! (although our Double bed would split apart in the night, ha!!) We had a nice pool view and it wasn't too noisy either. We genuinely had a really lovely stay and we would return here, to use this as a base for our adventures again! The area is great (we visited in Sept so not too busy) and it's only 30 mins drive to Girona city. 10 mins walk to the beach? Perfect for us!!"
