"Comfortable hotel in a very beautiful location near the beach and shops, magnificent rooftop and pool, top-notch breakfast but unfortunately DEPLORABLE service, lack of empathy and failure to resolve the Wi-Fi problems, and yet there were 2 of them. It is a real shame!!!!!"

"We stayed at the hotel for two nights, for our daughter's wedding, from September tenth to the twelfth. We had already been there last year. The stay was fine, aside from an incident that I will explain later. The problem started with the checkout, on the twelfth. We forgot the wedding favor, a small pot with a little plant, on the nightstand under the television. The economic value was low, the sentimental value, high. We live near Platja d'Aro. We realized it a few hours later and called the hotel; they told us they would investigate and call us the next day. They told us that the pot was next to the trash can, on the floor, and that they had thrown it away. As is evident, it is not true; it is their version. The gentleman at the front desk told us they would compensate us. From then on, from September 12th until today, the 29th, seventeen days have passed; we have spoken via WhatsApp without any response on their part. They have limited themselves to saying that they were "working on the matter" and asking me three times in one week for "patience and understanding." Eight days ago they told me that management would get in touch with me. Silence and more " patience and understanding ". Today I told them that I would make the matter public and their zero response. Coincidentally? they have responded to me for the first time in seventeen days. They have reminded us of their version about the loss of the flowerpot " it was next to the trash and they threw it away " something that we know is not true . They have treated us like liars, and most surprisingly, they have told us literally " once the stay is finished and the room is abandoned, the responsibility for personal items that may be left forgotten in the room corresponds to the CLIENT " Do they throw away what they find forgotten even if the client claims it shortly after? They have offered us " the compensation " seventeen days later . They are not very fast . A 30% discount on a one-day stay at their hotel during the month of October . After everything that happened and calling us liars, WE WILL NOT RETURN to that hotel or any of the Silken chain . The incident I was referring to at the beginning was the following. When going to have breakfast the first day and giving the room number, they told us that we did not have it included in the reservation, I was surprised, but our daughter made the reservation through Booking, and I was not sure. We paid for breakfast..Then we asked our daughter. She sent us the reservation confirming that breakfast was included. They refunded it to us. Obviously the fault was not theirs (it never is) it was Booking's, which did not inform well. Anyway, WE WILL NOT RETURN (we would never leave the room with peace of mind) If you decide to go, do not forget to inspect the room on the day of departure (if you forget something it is your responsibility, they throw it away) And if you have made the reservation with Booking make sure of what it includes."

"A great hotel in the center and next to everything with the beach a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is very cool and with modern decoration that makes you feel very good. The rooms are spacious and modern and have a balcony with views of the pool that at night is great for having a drink with the lights. The pool, although it is not very big, is charming and perfect for relaxing. The buffet breakfast is very good, there is everything for a good breakfast. The hotel has parking where you can leave the car and forget about it because finding a place in Playa de Aro to park is complicated, especially in summer and high season. I recommend it 100% and without a doubt I would stay again. It is the best hotel in the Silken chain that I have stayed at."
