Sorrabona

"Hotel Sorrabona is in a great location for the well-maintained beach, for Pineda de Mar railway station, as well as for shops and restaurants. We visited in late May (2026), when it was already warm enough to swim in the sea and the beach wasn't at all crowded. The hotel has a good size swimming pool (where we also swam), and plenty of sun loungers, both in the sunshine and in the shade. The two hotel buildings direct the sea breeze in-between them, and this clever wind tunnel effect helps reduce the air temperature throughout the garden. The premises are kept squeaky clean. Daily room service washes the bathroom, makes the beds, and would change your towels daily if you wanted (we chose not to). The communal areas were also spotless, including the bathrooms and showers near the pool. The standard rooms and bathroom are a decent size, and look like they have been refurbished recently. The WiFi was accessible in the room, as well as around the pool area. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food, although the terraces both at the front and the back of the hotel looked inviting. The place is quiet enough, no disturbance from the restaurant or other guests, and the door closing mechanisms are adjusted just right, so the doors close smoothly -- a small detail that illustrates the level of care."

"Stayed in the Apartments a couple of blocks behind the hotel. Apartments were clean and well equipped. Only comment would be then a toaster would be useful. The hotel and apartments are extremely well located and the staff were very helpful. We had a late checkout at 5pm for €60 - great value. Do try sitting by the pool, it’s not big or lively but it’s soothing after a day on the beach. Tip, it’s worth investing in a hdmi cable to use the free WiFi to steam films etc. would we go back - yes."

"Wonderful location, lovely staff, super close to the beach, great facilities, exceptional view, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, and close to the train station, so you can go to Barcelona at any time. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only negative points I have to mention is that the pool is not heated and therefore really really cold, and that the train makes a lot of noise when it passes the hotel. But aside from that, would definitely recommend!"
