"We stayed here for a week in Oct 2026, the room has everything you need. I got an iron from reception, $10 deposit which I got back. We checked in really late and they put food in our fridge which was a nice touch. I messaged them and asked if they would decorate the room for my partner's 30th. They were more than happy to oblige and it was lovely. The staff are friendly and approachable. The food is different every day and something for everyone. The only complaints we have are very small and minor. The rooms are outdated but have all the amenities. If you are coming from abroad, you will need adaptors for plugs. The bar downstairs has proper Coke, Fanta etc but the pool bar upstairs doesnt. Night times can be noisy and the wall where your beds are back onto next door's TV so if they have the TV on, you can hear it. The area itself is nice, right across from the beach, train station nearby, restaurants nearby. We also really enjoyed the activities in the day time with the staff :)"

Room 521 4th october to the 11th octobet I have just spent a wonderful week at High H Top Palace Pineda Hotel on the Costa Brava, Spain, and I can honestly say that this is, without a doubt, my favourite hotel on the Costa Brava so far! A year of mental health issues and ill health recovering this place helped fix me. As a solo traveller, this holiday meant a great deal to me. It was my first time travelling alone in nearly six years, and although I was excited, I was also quite nervous. I sometimes suffer from major anxiety when travelling on my own, so choosing to take this step and enjoy a holiday at an adults-only hotel was a big thing for me. From the moment I experienced the warmth and friendliness of the staff, those nerves began to disappear. The welcome, kindness, and genuine care shown throughout my stay made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly looked after. What impressed me most was how the entire team pulled together during the rough and stormy weather at the beginning of the week. The conditions were challenging, but rather than allowing the weather to spoil the experience, the staff worked together brilliantly to make sure guests were as comfortable, happy, and well looked after as possible. I have honestly never seen such a friendly, dedicated bunch of people pull together during difficult circumstances. It really showed the character of this hotel and the people who work there. The weather improved throughout the week, bringing a lovely mixture of sunshine and overcast days, and the holiday turned into a brilliant experience from start to finish. The spa was a wonderful addition, the food was enjoyable, the rooms were comfortable, and the entertainment was just right for making the week feel complete. Everything came together to create a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable stay. However, what truly makes this hotel stand out is the customer service. Every member of staff deserves nothing less than five stars. You don't just meet expectations; you exceed them. Your friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to go the extra mile made such a difference to my holiday. As someone travelling alone after such a long time, feeling welcomed and at ease meant more to me than you probably realise. You helped settle my anxiety, made me feel comfortable in my surroundings, and allowed me to enjoy my holiday without constantly worrying. That is something I will always appreciate. The whole area felt welcoming, the hotel atmosphere was fantastic, and the experience reminded me how enjoyable solo travel can be when you are surrounded by such lovely people. I arrived with a few nerves and left with wonderful memories, a big smile, and every intention of returning. Thank you to every single member of the team for making my first solo holiday in nearly six years such a brilliant experience. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. Your hard work, especially during those difficult stormy days, did not go unnoticed. High H Beach Top Palace is officially my favourite hotel on the Costa Brava so far, and I genuinely hope to return and see you all again in the future. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, great facilities, delicious food, and everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff, whose kindness, professionalism, and warm personalities made me feel so welcome. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I know how much effort, dedication, and teamwork it takes to create an outstanding guest experience. That’s why I can genuinely appreciate the quality of service I received throughout my stay. I notice the little details, the professionalism behind the scenes, and the people who go the extra mile to make guests feel special — and Pineda Palace Hotel truly exceeded my expectations.
