Tropic Park Hotel

"The best thing about this hotel is the fridge in the room and the beautiful wall art above the beds. Simply stunning! The worst thing was the food. Also my daughter found a foreign body in her meal and I discreetly brought it to the head waitress's attention, she did not appear grateful and didnt even apologise, nor thank me for showing her privately. She regularly seemed annoyed with her staff and walked around like an army sargeant. The evening entertainment was good and the youth who organised it all were very enthuiastic. A few All Inclusive members complained that they were treated unfairly. We were half board, so didnt have any problems with obtaining drinks. I wouldnt stay here again nor would I recommend it because food is important to holiday guests. This hotel got it quite wrong in this areas and the cost cutting was too obvious. However the dining room was beautiful with cascading fountain features in the corner."

"A nice hotel overall. However small rectifiable details took away its 4* rating. There is no iron in any of the rooms in this entire hotel. There is no kettle in the room either and there is a charge to use the safe. They have a fridge in the room, but it does not keep anything cold. There is a 10 euro refundable deposit required for a beach / pool towel. Half-board, should entitle guests to at least one free drink of their choosing with every evening meal. ALL these things should be standard provision for a 4* hotel, therefore I would say this hotel is a 3* Plus. PRO's The hotel was clean throughout. I found staff in ALL areas to be polite and professional, especially Joanna on reception, Lola, the restaurant manager and the chefs. The food was really nice with a good choice selection both for breakfast and evening meals. The only gripe would be it could be hotter. Nevertheless, there is a microwave in situ, allowing you to heat your food to your required temperature. The room was smaller than I have become accustom to in 4* hotels, but it was manageable. The bed was comfortable, and the room was made-up daily with fresh towels too. Great location and for 21 euros you can by a train pass for the month (one day return is 12 euros) that enables you to go into Barcelona or other destinations as frequently as you like, hoping on and off."

"Very beautiful location. Food was great was lots of variety. Almost every night there was some sort of entertainment. The staff were so nice and really pleasant. A fridge in every room. I will definitely go back"
