"This hotel is up a very steep hill we were not told this and I have difficulty walking , bedrooms are very nice and were cleaned every day no complaints on that but food was very disappointing, no matter if you were first in or last it was always cool to cold , could have been a bit more information on food , no complaints on staff"

"Rooms are nice and beds comfortable Maria is the ginger bar in the evenings is lovely. We decided to upgrade to all inclusive we found this to be worthwhile for the drinks we especially like the premium drinks were included. However we had a very poor experience with the food. We were impressed with the snack bar on the first day however poor weather meant the pool bar was closed and we were told on multiple occasions that snacks were not available in the ginger bar as an alternative as the pool bar was closed, this was rectified and we were grateful to be able to order limited snack menu, which is needed because the buffet was awful very small selection and only meat available was pork this was the same breakfast lunch and dinner and the food that was available was cold. We ended up eating out on our last night. Unfortunately the weather was poor during our stay resulting in the pool being closed there was no entertainment kids club closed we had to pay 25 euro per person to use the indoor pool for something to do and when we arrived for our hour paying 150 for our group the pool had no lights and was super dark. Really disappointing overall such as shame as the hotel itself has potential."

"I never normally come on and write reviews, but unfortunately I felt this hotel needed one. Starting with the staff, the majority of the people we dealt with came across as quite rude and made us feel as though asking for anything was a bother. I will say there was one lovely gentleman at reception who was extremely helpful and friendly, although unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. The hotel itself is lovely and definitely has potential, but there are quite a few areas that need improvement. We had to call reception to ask for our room to be properly cleaned, and even basic things such as replacing the toilet roll, changing the bed sheets and cleaning the floors weren’t consistently done. The breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. On the first morning there was no cereal, the second morning there was barely any fruit, eggs or hot food available. We arrived with plenty of time before breakfast finished, so it wasn’t a case of coming down at the last minute. Overall, the buffet was very poor and we actually chose not to eat breakfast there for the remainder of our stay. The location is quite good, although it is worth being aware that the hotel is up a hill. Also, if you are booking specifically for the “sea view”, the view is mainly buildings with the sea behind them, so I would keep that in mind. I travel extremely frequently for my job and stay in hotels on a very regular basis, including some absolutely lovely Meliá hotels. Unfortunately, this particular hotel simply did not live up to the standard I have experienced from the brand elsewhere. It’s a shame because the hotel itself has a lot of potential, but based on our experience, the service, housekeeping and breakfast really need improvement."
