"Myself and my partner hadn't been to Benidorm more than 15 years ago. And decided to go, mainly for reminiscing purposes. In the last 2 places we stopped were quite basic, so we thought we would go for something that looked a bit more special. He wanted to be near to Levante end, so we booked here as seemed to be with in reasonable walking distances to most places. We has B&B. It was reasonably good. Have most definitely had a lot worse. The 3 different ladies on Reception were great. Always happy and willing to help, and gave us some great information that we needed. There is only one issue, which if you read any of the reviews, a lot of them are about the lifts. And i would have to totally agree. It definitely is their downfall, and think they seriously need to look at it. They are very slow, and not big enough. We got a room on the 17th Floor. Unfortunately near to the lift. There is obviously a mechanical issue with it, and made a terrible noise every time some one used them. It was that bad we couldn't sleep. On the plus side, we got moved straight away, which i thought was great! I am sure they are looking into this problem. But think having more lifts for the amount of people is definitely needed. Entertainment was good also. And the late bar. On the day of checkout, was given a treat bag. It contained 2 apples, 2 bottles of water, and a big bag of crisps. So based on our stay, i would recommend it."

"We booked this hotel for its location, star rating and appearance in the advertised photos. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Benidorm. The location is great for seeing old and new town Benidorm. The staff at the hotel were friendly. Like so many industries though, this hotel was under staffed especially the bars. Would I say this hotel is a 4 star…… no! 3 star at best. The rooms were small, walls marked in several places due to scuffing from suitcases being manoeuvred around in a tight space. Beds were basic. Bathrooms couldn’t fault and were clean. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste but there was enough choice on offer. Communal stair case hadn’t been cleaned in the week we were there. Dust balls on the stairs and marks that had been there a good while. Lifts didn’t always work and one set of lifts didn’t work after 10pm for some reason. Had to pay extra if you wanted your towels changing, the code for the safe and coffee/milk replenishing in the room. Cleaners were super friendly and did a good job of cleaning our room everyday. The games room was a god send for us as it helped entertain the children. Enjoyable stay but this hotel needs some TLC and some more staff."
