Poseidon Resort

"When booking this holiday it was of the pictures of accommodation that we liked but when we got there the apartments looked nothing like it 80 of 85 pictures showing the resort the apartments which is a 2 minute walk away in another building very misleading apartments are old and dated building formerly benimar apartments we were told we could come down and use the resort facilities with a wrist band we told management no Wi-Fi they said we will look into it didn’t work the entire we were there the left hand lift worked intermittently we only found this out after be stuck inside for 10 minutes also reported this nothing done several other also got trapped there’s no pictures of in side of apartment sleeping 4 consisting of 2 beds and 2 settee s which they class as beds !!!!! Overall if I new what the apartments looked like would never have booked it"

"I LOVE this resort, its small, very clean, rooms are cleaned daily, staff are lovely, location is perfect, close to old town and only a 5 minute walk to the start of the strip. We've stayed here before and would definitely stay again. Last stay we were B&B, this time SC so cant comment on the food. My only negative is the pool / sun lounger situation. I've watched people from my balcony put towels down at 8am and not return to the bed until gone 2pm. People who have secured beds in multiple spots and moved to them as the sun moves around the pool. The staff should be removing towels after an hour of not being used. It spoils it for others who have no chance of getting a lounger for the day."

"When we got to the resort we were told that check in was at 4 and that we were booked in another section of the hotel so we left our bags and went out for a look around. On returning after 4 we were then told that we had to pay a deposit of €150 for damage/breakages etc which would be returned once the room was checked at the end of the stay. This was unexpected, then we were told we had to put wristbands on to use all the facilities in that hotel as our room was in another building down the road!!! We chose that hotel because of the pictures we saw on their website and thought they looked lovely and modern. Ok, not happy about this at all, we got to this hotel, couldn’t get internet. We saw the maid once for clean towels and then at the end of the stay. It seemed like they were putting all British people in this hotel and the Spanish in the nicer resort."
