Family fun on the outskirts of Benidorm
There’s plenty of space to spread out at Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis, a family-friendly spot on the outskirts of Benidorm. The outdoor terrace is particularly roomy, with a generous outdoor pool, and a healthy supply of sun loungers sprinkled around the gardens to help you make yourself at home.
The fun rarely stops here in high season, with a busy line-up of daily activities like pool games, archery, and bowls. There’s a sports court, too, plus the likes of table tennis and mini golf to get stuck into if you fancy a little friendly competition. For younger kids, the MedKids programme is on hand with organised fun and games for the cohort aged four to twelve.
Inside, meanwhile, you’ll find a heated pool, a well-stocked gym, and a wellness area. Why not treat yourself to a session in the sauna or go all out and indulge in a massage or body wrap? Holidays are for relaxing, after all.
The restaurant is a buffet affair, with stations piled high with international cuisine. Then there's à la carte spot that's open a couple of nights a week if you fancy trying something new. There’s a great selection of watering holes to be found here, too, including a piano bar and a poolside snack spot, but the real star of the show is the rooftop bar. With sweeping views of the resort, and a side of evening entertainment, you’d be hard pushed to find a better place for a twilight tipple.
