"I hated my stay here. The beds have the hardest mattresses I've ever experienced, the food is basic, they tried to charge me to use the gym, the elevators are so slow. The worst part was that reception told me I could pay for drinks at check out and on night two, the food staff told me I had stolen water the previous night!!! I didn't, I signed the docket they gave me and left, thinking I could pay at check out... like the reception staff told me. What a horrible hotel."

"checked in by Nora who was extremelu helpful and friendly. Room was on the 19th floor and gave superb views of the Old Town and Poniente. The room was clean, small but met our needs. There weren't many queues for the lifts. Only stayed B&B but the food was good, the coffee excellent and all the restaurant staff were friendly By far the best thing though is the location, easy to reach Levante and a 5 minute walk into the Old Town. Would I stay again? Yes"

"I have been coming to this hotel for 10 years, every year I have some bad experience. One year it was cleaning, other times they forgot to clean my room for 2 days during the course of 1 week there. This year another surprise!! They stopped having performances for the hotel guests. It is the Only one that does not have shows for an audience that is generally older and whose only distraction after dinner!! The management of this hotel has been terrible for 3 years... if the founder of this iconic hotel saw what her successor is doing... I don't know what she would think??? Anyway! The only good thing about this hotel is the location!! Mr. Chimo, who is the new owner... after his mother's passing, take a look at this because in the end, your customers of decades will stop coming.. Many customers who see each other year after year share this opinion."
