"We stayed for four nights in a premium room. We arrived at around 2pm and were told our room wasn’t ready, but they’d call us once it was. We left our cases and went to have some lunch. We received a call at around 2.30pm, stating our room was ready, which was nice! (Check in is at 4pm).
Our room was large, very clean and in good decorative order. The bathroom was a good size, with a powerful walk in shower and two sinks, which was handy! Towels were large, soft and fluffy and toiletries were provided.
The beds were very comfortable; however, no blanket or duvet. There was one blanket in the wardrobe. We called reception late at night to request a second. This was brought up to us in minutes, which was impressive.
Our balcony was huge, with two loungers and a table and chairs. This meant we didn’t have to use the pool.
The hotel is close to the strip, but the soundproofing is very good. I did still use ear plugs, as I’m a light sleeper and could hear the music ever so slightly.
Large beach towels were provided in the room, which I liked, as it meant no hunting for a towel station. We did use the pool on our last day, which was fine. There are two levels with loungers and umbrellas. The pool is small and warm, but fine for a quick dip.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of choice and the food was of a good standard.
The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes walk from the main strip and around a 10-15 minute walk to the old town.
Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean throughout.
The reason I haven’t awarded the hotel 5* is due to the lack of showers/changing facilities in the hotel, once you have checked out. Check out is at midday. We were being collected at 4pm. We asked the evening before if there were any shower facilities we could use after we checked out, so we could use the pool whilst we waited to be collected. We were told there was the option of a late check out or the use of a complimentary room, but we would have to check in the morning. We did this and were told the hotel was fully booked. There is nowhere to shower/get changed as there is no gym or spa. This is most unusual. I haven’t stayed in a hotel before that didn’t have shower or changing facilities for guests with a late check out. We had to leave our cases with reception and have a shower using the pool showers that you use to rinse off before and after getting in the pool, which obviously wasn’t a proper shower, as you are in full view of everyone. There is only one toilet at the pool, so getting ready there wasn’t an option. There is one toilet downstairs in reception, so we had to go back down there, lock ourselves in and get dressed and ready.
If the hotel had facilities for those leaving later in the day, I’d have awarded it 5*. I would recommend this hotel and stay again, but I’d make sure I had an earlier flight!"
