Cimbel

"This is a lovely clean hotel in an excellent location. Old town is a short walk to the right, the strip is a longer walk to the left. Behind, is the start of Benidorm town. The room was clean and well serviced. Very spacious too. We had a full sea view and a balcony, which was worth it. Breakfast was plentiful, and if you can't find something to eat from the buffet, then you should have picked Scarborough! English bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms friend bread, beans hash thingies. Also the usual cereals, German cheese and meats,, pastries, juices. The staff were all very smiley and helpful. Our only beef was no entertainment- except a dreary singer one night. But hey, this is Benidorm, there's no shortage of entertainment for free elsewhere!"

"Hi Having just returned from the Cimbel Hotel @ Benidorm, I feel the need to do a review of our experience. The Cimbel Hotel is perfectly placed ½ way along Avante beach which for anybody visiting Benidorm will find an excellent base for all local amenities. The hotel itself you will find exceptionally clean, tidy and well presented, the hotel arranged transfers to / from Alicante airport which was a god send as the airport was very busy. The room we had chosen was a deluxe panoramic view room on the 8th floor which was absolutely amazing, with stunning views over the sea. The breakfast choice is beyond amazing (well presented tasty and hot ) . Our only criticism of the hotel is that it is aimed more for the Spanish than the English (my opinion ), I know it’s in spain and attracts a lot of locals but the staff seamed more helpful to their own and the evening entertainment was more directed towards them… for this reason I cannot rate at 5* and probably will not return (sorry but I’m always honest with my reviews )…"
