The Avenida Benidorm has a central location in the resort’s cobbled Old Town, putting you within spitting distance of atmospheric restaurants and bars. Better still, it’s just a stone’s throw from Levante Beach, a golden belt of sand that stretches along the coast for more than a mile.

There’s plenty to enjoy at the hotel itself. Its best feature is the swimming pool, which offers spectacular sea views from its rooftop terrace, and comes with a good supply of loungers and parasols. A neighbouring bar will keep you going with cold drinks, and the entertainment team hosts games and quizzes by the waterside. After dark, there’s more of the same, with professional shows and live music acts down in the swish lounge bar.
