Avenida Benidorm

"Myself and my sister now both widowed stayed here because she and her late husband had had several happy holidays in the Avenida. I was reluctant because Benidorm would never have been my choice to visit. However. I have holidayed in many All Inc hotels throughout Spain and the Canaries etc in the past and I have to say that the Avenida was up there at the top in my experience. Old town Benidorm surpassed my expectations and I truly loved it. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. Franc behind the bar was so lovely and the drinks were high quality. The restaurant staff were so attentive and happy and the food was delicious. The location was perfect as was the cleanliness of the hotel and the room was comfortable with cleaning done every day. The fridge was so useful. A special mention has to be made to Hope. Hope was the forefront of entertainment every night and held dance lessons every afternoon. I attended the lessons and was able to participate every night when dancing was held followed by various forms of entertainment. I had the best time. Hope is an amazing asset to this hotel and I hope (pardon the pun). she is still there when I return We made some lovely friends and that was all down to the happy holiday that we enjoyed in the Avenida. "Great location in Benidorm centre, close to the beach front, rooms are small and basic, but everything you need and clean, we had clean bedding and towels daily, we found breakfast amazing, staff were friendly and approachable, great roof sun terrace with sun loungers,small pool and jacuzzi, a safe luggage room if your on a later flight home with your own key card for access, drinks are reasonably priced at hotel bar as we only stayed b&b, free WiFi across the hotel which worked fine for us, my only negative is the lifts, as only 2 and only 3 people at a time, there can be a wait, we would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back, thank you for a great stay."

"Booked this hotel with a bunch of friends got put on the bottom floor woth no balcony as was booked.. The pool is on the roof and is shaded most of the day and freezing cold the sunbeds were all broken and dangerous .. The food was ok but the dining room staff were very rude and arguing with each other all the time I would never ho back here in a million years"
