"Stayed here with a group of friends (we all had our own rooms with balcony) and found the experience to be first class. The rooms are clean, shower is fantastic and the views are incredible, especially on the rooftop pool area. The staff are polite and super friendly. Food is varied and plentiful and the drinks are fantastic. The pool area is relaxed and you could always get access to sun lounges anytime of the day. The pool is small but great as is the whirlpool. Location is great for the beach and the Old Town with a short walk to the start of the strip if you want more action. The area is pedestrianised so you have no sound of traffic but it does mean a 2 min walk if you are going dropped off by taxi. Will definitely use this Hotel again. In fact my Attorney insists we stay here later in the year and I look forward to it."

"I loved being in this hotel. My room had a sea view and I really liked hearing the chatter of the streets, usually quiet around 11pm. The staff are excellent. Friendly, so willing to want you to have the best experience and quick to respond to any query you have. I didn't always eat the restaurant, my choice as I'd rather eat out and didn't always want what was on offer. However, lots of choice. You do have to pay for drinks, including water, in the evening. I was here for a month and loved the traditional feel to this very welcoming hotel. I did check first and took my own kettle for that proper tea in the morning! Hope to visit again in the Autumn."

"Arrived very late to check-in due to flight delay (early hours of morning) and very pleasant receptionist checked us in, no problems. He very kindly told us some light refreshment was provided in the dining room. A nice touch we thought. Hotel is very clean and has beautiful decor. We were given a lovely, spacious room on lower floor at the side we’d requested on booking direct with hotel. Lovely balcony with view down to the sea, great sitting watching the world go by and no problems asking for drinks at the bar to take to the room. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided as required. All the staff, reception, cleaning, bar and restaurant were very welcoming and pleasant. The food choice was very varied at all meals and the hot dishes were hot, unlike some hotels. Great variety of salads and desserts. We were All Inclusive and could have water, beer or wine with lunch and dinner. There was never a queue at the bar and it served lovely coffee there too. We loved the ambience of the lounge, comfortable and peaceful to relax in, day or night. We did use the swimming pool on the 6th floor (walked up as I can’t go in a lift), manageable walk up. We were there late afternoons and plenty choice of sunbeds. The water was cold but it didn’t deter us - very refreshing! Pool bar closed until 1st June but once again, you can take drinks up from the bar. We paid a deposit of 10€ each for towel hire. The location of the hotel is a winner for us, step out and you’re minutes from the beach, shops, bars, Tapas Square & Tapas Alley, bus stop in front of Madeira Centro (buses to Levante side, Finestrat, Albir&Altea etc) and taxi/transfer bus drop off point. We will not hesitate to return to this hotel and would book direct again as price is comparable."
