Ambassador Playa II

"Enjoyed our first time here, so much so we've already rebooked. Booked back rooms which was a blessing as 30 degrees heat made the pool balconies unusable. Would try and get higher rooms tho, 2nnd floor is too close to the riad Food was generally ok, but not all. The desserts are to die for tho. Couldn't fault the staff as they were brilliant, just don't hassle them to get in your room early. Lesson learned. Next year, just clear off until 3 oclock Can't wait to get bck"

"Fabulous hotel, its on the strip but a great location too. The food, the staff, the rooms, all excellent. Its a all round great hotel. We have just booked again for March."

"Hi, Just got back home from this hotel. My Wife and I booked an adapted room. Which we allocated No. 1130 with pool view. It's nice and spacious, the bathroom had everything for me, being in a wheelchair, roll in shower, grab bars, fixed fold down seat, hand & rainfall showers. BUT. The door needs castors, it's a bugger to open and close. The sink is too high if you are permanently in a wheelchair. As i say the room is nice and spacious, BUT you cannot get your wheelchair onto the balcony because there is not enough gap between the bed and the unit holding the fridge. the way I had to get onto the balcony was fold my wheelchair and bounce across the bed, so if if you're not nimble enough for that, forget it. The restaurant, finding a table is chaotic, they do have designated tables for disabled, BUT most times they were full, we did try varying the times we went down to the restaurant and touched lucky a few times. The staff only concentrate on setting and clearing the tables. Concentrating so much that they forgot to smile. The food is only OK mostly cold, less said the better. The lifts are hit and miss, the most we waited was 15 minutes even though there are 3 lifts. Overall our stay was OK. BUT we won't be returning. Isobel our room cleaner was very thorough and she was the happiest member of staff we met."
