"Beautiful hotel food very good rooms excellent clean staff friendly but ladies on their own beware harassed and followed to lift by two Spanish men who were in the bar wouldn’t take no for an answer suspect they prey on women on their own as their full time job. Hotel need to have access to lifts for guests only very frightening, reported to reception these men were definitely not guests ."

"Spent an amazing 4 nights at the Level at the Melia Alicante. On arrival we were upgraded to a fabulous suite with 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, 2 flat screen tvs and lots more extras. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and their customer care skills are truly superb. I cannot single out an individual staff member as they were all brilliant. Even though there was ongoing building work outside, we hardly noticed as all detours and changes had been expertly anticipated to minimise disruption for guests. The food and drinks were all fabulous. We really didnt want to go back to UK as it was perfection. THANK YOU for making our honeymoon so memorable and can't wait to book for 2026."

"The Level offers a brilliant experience and exceeded my expectations. Lovely comfy rooms with either a marina or beach view, with a huge TV and good wifi. The Level lounge with free drinks (hot, cold, wine, beer) and snacks all day was fantastic and the dedicated Level pool is very nice, and heated in winter (which many Spanish pools are not). The hotel itself is very handy for the old town and the airport bus stops right outside. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful too."
