San Remo

"The hotel is situated in the centre of Alicante, about 15 minutes walk from where the airport bus drops you by the beach. The room was nice, modern, clean and light with a balcony overlooking the street. It had ac, a comfy double bed and modern bathroom. Shower was hot and good pressure. Staff friendly. Some noise from drinkers leaving nearby bars at night but not noticeable with balcony door closed. Good option, would stay again."

"I stayed here for 8 nights while I was doing a Spanish course. San Remo was an excellent choice for me because it is right in the heart of the city close to all the main points of interest and a multitude of restaurants and tapas bars, cafes etc. I liked my room which had a balcony and large bathroom. It was on the 6th floor - lift does take a while to arrive sometimes but if you're feeling athletic you can go up the 6 flights of stairs! Breakfast is not included here but that is no problem in a place like Alicante as there are so many cafes offering it for about 3.50 Euros. Staff were all very nice and helpful."

"I don't think that I've ever stayed in a smaller hotel room. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. And there were no frills in the room. Could not get the TV remote to work, but that may be my own lack of technical prowess. But, the price was right. It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Also a great location."
