Hospes Amerigo

"Hotel was recommended by a friend and so we got a last minute flight Thursday- Monday. Hotel is in a great location, everything is so close and walkable. Reception staff all very friendly and so helpful. We were told we had received an upgrade (which we get told a lot in other locations and never believe) but on this occasion we did and it was a beautiful room. Won’t share the room as we will want it next time. Room has 2 small balconies which looked out on to the street full of restaurants although doors locked out any sound which was good. We used the upstairs sun deck which was great and the bar opposite which is part of the hotel and the lady who served us was amazing. Would come back in a heart beat and intact we may go again later in the year and with friends next year! Always thought Alicante would be a bit naff but it’s actually beautiful! Plenty of bars and places to walk. Taxi is 20 mins and caught a cab from Airport (€30) and an Uber back (€22). A couple of small bits that irked me. But minor! No free water provided for room (would expect in a 5*). Pool was a bit manky. But, wouldn’t hesitate to go back - had a wonderful time!"

"Without a doubt, the best hotel in Alicante—nothing else comes close. The rooms are absolutely stunning; this time we stayed in a junior suite, and it was perfect. Spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The service is outstanding, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast is a real highlight, beautifully presented, with the option to order directly from your table, which adds a luxurious touch. The rooftop pool and bar are fantastic, offering a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the views. If you’re visiting Alicante, this is the place to stay. I’ve previously stayed at Meliá and Innside, but Hospes Amérigo is on a completely different level, far superior in every way."

"In Hospes Amerigo ATM. Having stayed in many hotels in Alicante, I believe this is the best choice of location, service, and overall provision of facilities. In what theHotel lacks in terms of seaview , it makes up for with the rooftop pool which offers full Restaurant service and a lovely quiet oasis where you can read and enjoy a sauna or swim. The standard of housekeeping is excellent and rooms, while not spacious offer a balcony, lovely artisan products and fully stocked mini bar. The glassware and linens are if a high quality. The staff are professional and unobtrusive. Thank you for the gift of sparkling water and sweet treats. The wait staff in Hospes Amerigo deserve a particular mention. They are helpful, warm and truly accommodating. Desi manages to work on the rooftop and dining room all the while maintaining a kindly disposition and meeting the needs of guests seamlessly. Looking forward to my next visit!"
