"Depends what you want. As a local. The main course is very pretty and challenging . The par 3 excellent. Practice areas awful. Cost. Very expensive. Service? Its a holiday resort not a golf course. They care more about events than golf. The ‘royal’ title they have doesn’t reflect the facilities."

"A quiet golf hotel sounded perfect, yet the experience was far from relaxing. The main issue was the noise. The hotel attracts groups of golfers who play golf then drink. All good, but the sound proofing in the rooms is non existent. We could hear the conversations of the drinkers at the bar, could hear the conversations when they hot back to their rooms and any movement of furniture resonated loudly throughout our room. Often this would go on until first light. So unfortunately our quiet stay turned into sleepless nights. On to he pro side the apartments are large and clean. The decor is adequate yet tired, and the kitchen provides a great place to cook. On the down side it is noisy, miles from anywhere, and the apartments only contain the basics. A car is a must. I will not return to nor recommend this resort."

"The golf course does have some fine holes but it is tired and in need of a lot of work. Some of the fairways and greens are extremely patchy with a lot of difficult grasses growing. Some of the flags didn't stand properly in the holes which meant to damage around the cup. One of the par 3's beside the driving range was unplayable due to cones seeds etc from nearby trees. Pro shop also needs a bit of a facelift. Such a pity really because the course does have potential just needs investment."
