Leonardo Hotel San Sebastian

"Very poor service, unhelpful staff. Very glad to leave. Almost adequate room, strange room layout, aircon hopeless, hotel overpriced. Cannot recommend."

"Hi Everyone, Just back from 8 days touring Sans Sebastian, Biarritz, Pamplona and Madrid. We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Sans Sebastian for 5 nights. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It's a little bit out from the centre of the city but there is literally a bus stop at the door with a high frequency of buses, no. 19 bus brings your right into old town in around 15 minutes. Staff great, service great. Very comfortable and clean rooms serviced everyday. Great shower and really good aircon. Nice and quiet location. Not too many options to eat close by but the food in the hotel was really nice. You'll be eating out most of the time anyway but it's a decent option if you need it. Breakfast was OK, typical I would say, nothing to write home about but ticked all the boxes, we only had it once as we were out and about early. Also, decent value compared to the rest of the hotels in the city. We had a rental car, plenty of parking in the hotel car park but at €15 per day we choose to park on the street for free and had no problem finding a spot. Swimming pool on the roof top that was clean and well maintained. Again, no hesitation in recommending this hotel."

"Really enjoyed staying here. We were able to check in early - there's loads of parking (chargeable) . Staff were brilliant and really know the local area. The room was bright and airy - fixtures and fittings looked clean and new & we had a glass shower in the room. We ate here twice and had no issues requesting Gluten free main courses. Food and drink at the hotel are cheaper than I expected, and service is very quick - We hope to stay here again"
