"Just got back from this magnificent hotel. Where to begin? The whole hotel is finished to a fabulous standard. Our room was immaculate. The view from the roof terrace is absolutely breathtaking. The staff are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. I usually don’t book breakfast at a hotel, particularly in somewhere like San Sebastián, where the food is already exceptional. We had breakfast on the first day and booked it again every day for the remainder of our trip. Superb! Can’t thank the staff enough and we will 100% be returning. Thank you again."

"As a fairly well travelled family, we know a good hotel when we find one and this is a good hotel (rooms, beds, air con, toiletries, location, breakfast, gym, service, staff). However, one of the main reasons for this review is our family became ill with a gastro virus and the staff at the hotel looked after us very well under difficult circumstances. Not all hotels would have done this, but this hotel did. I fully recommend this hotel, not only is it excellent but you can rely on staff to help you and go that bit extra when you really need it. "From the moment we arrived to leaving 4 days later, we were treated with exceptional customer experienced form the wonderful staff. We stayed in a 3rd floor room which looked out across San Sebastian roof tops and beaches. The breakfast provided a wide variety of options to choose from and was never rushed. The street elevator seemed like a secret passage way and enabled quick access to the beach and old town. There were complimentary treats in our room; water, chocolates, nuts and sweets which was a nice touch. Ask for beach towels at reception at check-in to access the rooftop pool. The 360 degree rooftop bar is the cherry on the cake and a great place to while away a few hours in the afternoon sun and a fabulous sunset. This will be a 25th wedding anniversary to remember.
