Hotel Conde Duque Bilbao

"Good hotel in a great location, ten minutes walk from the Old Town, but with great transport links via Tram over the Zubizurri bridge."

"This is great location for exploring Bilbao. We booked directly with the hotel. The reception team are fantastic and provide a 5 star service. House keeping is excellent - the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel was a high standard. We booked two rooms - a double superior with balcony and a double for single use. Both had walk in showers. The balcony was large enough to sit on with a side view of the river. The superior was comfortable with enough room but the single use interior room felt rather sombre. The rooms could use a refresh and a chest of drawers but this did not affect our enjoyment and the beds are very comfortable. It is quiet at night and the area around the hotel is peaceful and feels very safe. The funicular is not far and the local bars are really good. Extra praise to the reception team who help us get the most of our trip. Breakfast needs some improvement. The coffee is not good but there is plenty to eat and the scrambled eggs are delicious."
