"The hotel is compact and centrally located, with most major attractions within a comfortable 20–30 minute walk. The breakfast was very good and satisfying. Every morning there was a wide selection including boiled eggs, fresh croissants and bread, pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, coffee, and juices. The selection varied slightly each day, which kept it interesting. Unfortunately, I accidentally booked an interior room. The hotel was fully booked, so I couldn’t change it at first. I strongly recommend reading the room descriptions carefully and avoiding the interior rooms. The layout made the room feel much smaller because of a corridor that took up valuable space without adding any functionality. It was dark, felt like a shoebox, and the bedside table was so small that it could barely hold a glass of water. Another issue was a large group of school children staying at the hotel. They were very loud, shouting and running through the corridors and between rooms. I couldn’t sleep properly for two nights. Soundproofing is also a weakness of the hotel, as you can hear almost everything happening in the corridor and, at times, in neighbouring rooms. For the last two nights of my stay, I was moved to a standard room. The difference was significant. The brighter room, more practical layout without the corridor, larger table, and much more effective air conditioning made it feel considerably more spacious and comfortable. Had I experienced this room from the beginning, I would have rated the hotel five stars. Instead, my stay went from disappointing to very enjoyable. I highly recommend booking a standard room. It costs only a little more, but the experience is far better and offers much better value for money. It’s no recognition of Accor status."

"Excellent hotel, couldn’t ask for a better location, walking distance to La Sagrada Familia, tram stop, metro station, and two of the Gaudi houses (casa Batllo, casa Mila), room nice and quiet, great air conditioning, nice shower, great housekeeping and great staff both in the front desk and breakfast area, would wholeheartedly recommend. We stayed on the 3rd floor on the opposite side to the roadway (Av Diagonal)"

"I recently stayed four nights at the ibis Styles Barcelona Centre Hotel. While the hotel is relatively small, it is situated in an excellent location just a three-minute walk from the metro station. The convenience of having numerous ​convenience stores nearby, along with being within easy walking distance of fabulous eateries, shopping districts, and key landmarks like Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and the Sagrada Família, made for a fantastic stay. The staff were exceptional, ensuring that both check-in and check-out were fast and seamless. I found the team to be polite, efficient, and highly helpful with all my inquiries. Regarding the accommodations, my room was somewhat compact with limited walking space, which made it difficult to manage luggage, but it was well-maintained and featured a clean, comfortable bed. Additionally, while the breakfast spread was of good quality, offering more daily variations beyond the standard selection would significantly enhance the guest experience for those staying multiple nights. I would like to offer one specific point of feedback regarding room assignment: although I had specifically requested a quiet room away from the elevators to ensure a restful environment, I was assigned a room located directly sandwiched by two elevators. While I managed, this did lead to more foot traffic and noise than I had hoped for. Furthermore, I noted that the room rate is on the high side. The recent increase in the city's tourist tax for hotels also adds to the total cost, making a stay in Barcelona increasingly expensive. Despite these points, my experience was overall very pleasant, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona."
