ibis Barcelona Centro (Sagrada Familia)

"Stayed 18-22 JUN 2026. We had two rooms in a party of 6. Kind of plain from the outside but feels upscale inside. Great location, attractive rooms, if a bit crowded. Easy walk to public transit on Diagonal. Plenty of col restaurants nearby. Our bed was comfortable, but with a duvet, but no top sheet, so normal Euro hotel. Clever kid's bed. Bathroom was okay. Ask at the desk for items you need but lack; staff were happy to share a travel converter and had tooth care kits to give out. Our bags were delayed almost 48 hours, and the desk staff had ideas for where to shop for necessary items, like underwear and kid's clothes, nearby. Breakfast was included in our reservation, and it was a surprise, quite good. Very good coffee. Inexpensive bar service available if the tiendas are closed. This hotel is great for families wanting to be near the center of the city, and the Sagrada Familia. Plus, it's a great value, compared to other options. The hotel was quite clean, and we were never disturbed by noise from the street or the hotel. If there was something to add for amenities, maybe a pool? I'm not sure we would have used it; we were there to explore."

"It was expected, we didn't keep hight our expectation. Friendly staff, room was OK. We didn't take breakfast but looked nice and fair price compared outside. Just few minutes to Sagrada Familia Chirch. Thanks"

"My experience at ibis Barcelona Centro Sagrada Familia was unacceptable. During breakfast, the restaurant was chaotic — no supervision, guests cleaning tables themselves. While trying to clear a table so we could sit, I spoke briefly and calmly to a staff member. A few moments later, the same person approached me at the buffet and started shouting aggressively in front of 30–40 guests, using threatening body language and pointing at me. This was not a misunderstanding — it was clear verbal abuse. What followed was even more concerning: Reception staff saw and heard everything but did not intervene The staff member remained nearby and approached again No manager was available No effort was made to de-escalate or protect the guest After nearly two hours of distress, we were told relocation was possible — but only at a higher rate, while we were still charged for the stay where the incident occurred. This is not about a busy morning. This is a failure to provide a safe and respectful environment. For a hotel under Accor, this is simply not acceptable. Proceed with caution."
