Not your average crash pad
This swish, four-star hotel has bagged a central location just three minutes’ walk from La Rambla. It’s just a stone’s throw from the nearest metro station, too, so making your way around the city will be a breeze.
But before you get to grips with Barcelona, check out the impressive offering at the hotel, and you’ll soon realise this is more than your average city break crash pad. The terrace outside is home to a plunge pool – which is heated in spring and autumn – complete with loungers and hammocks to help you relax in style.
The spa kicks the relaxation up a notch, with an offering that ticks off a Turkish bath, sauna, aromatherapy showers, and Jacuzzi. Then there’s a menu of indulgent massages and treatments – perfect for soothing tired muscles after you’ve been out exploring the city all day.
Start your mornings with a trip to the breakfast buffet, which lays on a generous spread with show cooking stations plating up made-to-order eggs. Catalan cuisine is the order of the day at the à la carte restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh local produce. For a real treat, dine on the patio, which is tucked amongst the picturesque gardens. Casual bites and drinks are on offer at the Gastrobar, but the real star of the show is the rooftop terrace, where you can indulge in a drink with a weeping city view.
