Via Augusta

"Not the biggest room I've ever had, but perfect for my solo travel, and have to say the staff are very attentive and the breakfast well worth the the price. I was a tad apprehensive for a 2-star place, but Via Augusta went above that in my opinion, super quite and the location worked really well for me as it was close to several Metro lines, and in walking distance of a lot of conveniences. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the cleanliness of my room and bathroom, and the rainfall shower and ample towel were just the thing. Also, the 9th-floor outdoor lounge was nice, and a perfect spot to view the Sunday night fireworks display at the port."

"Pros: Extremely spacious room, excellent lighting both in the bedroom and bathroom, everything was very comfortable and absolutely worth the price. Staff service was extremely good and attentive, they even gave us recommendations of interesting spots to visit in the city. Breakfast was very complete, well-prepared and tasty, and the cleanliness throughout the entire hotel was impeccable. Cons: The angle of the shower is not the most comfortable possible for taking a shower."

"I stayed at this hotel last November, and I can honestly say it deserves a solid 4/5 rating. Hotels in Spain have never disappointed me, but this one was truly special and memorable. The staff were absolutely perfect — professional, kind, and very attentive. From reception to housekeeping and even the breakfast service, everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. A special thank you to the waitress at breakfast who kindly helped me with a cup of tea when I wasn’t feeling well due to a stomach issue. That small gesture meant a lot. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices, and the room was spacious, modern, comfortable, and very clean. Overall, the hospitality made my stay unforgettable. Barcelona became even more special thanks to the wonderful people working at this hotel. I would definitely return again. Much love and appreciation to you all."
