"I genuinely don't know where to begin in expressing our gratitude to the extraordinary team at METT Barcelona. Our arrival in Barcelona was nothing short of a nightmare. Shortly after collecting our rental car from the airport, it was broken into and every single piece of our luggage, including passports, laptops and personal belongings, was stolen. We arrived at METT shaken, distressed and with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. What followed was an exceptional display of kindness, compassion and outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel safe, comfortable and genuinely cared for. At a time when we were overwhelmed, they quietly and thoughtfully took care of so many things, making an incredibly difficult situation that much easier. They sent drinks to our room, arranged swimming costumes for us as we had absolutely nothing with us, and generously offered complimentary massages for all of us, which we kindly declined but appreciated enormously. They also helped cancel our dinner reservation in the city and arranged for our Sagrada Família tickets to be passed on to other guests, ensuring we were reimbursed. The hotel manager, Mohammed, was simply outstanding, as was every member of the team. From the car porter to Diego and Gia at reception, and the wonderful restaurant staff, everyone showed genuine warmth, kindness and a willingness to help. We felt truly looked after throughout our stay. And then there is the hotel itself. METT Barcelona is an absolutely stunning property, beautifully appointed and, in our opinion, the most beautiful place to stay in Barcelona. The setting, atmosphere and attention to detail are exceptional. A beautiful hotel is one thing. A beautiful hotel with truly exceptional people & kitchen is something quite special. That is exactly what we found at METT Barcelona. To Mohammed and the entire team, thank you for your extraordinary kindness and generosity. You made an enormous difference during a very difficult time, and we will always remember how wonderfully you looked after us. "Everything was perfect, from beginning to end. From the cleanliness to the beauty of the place, including the location, the amenities, and especially the quality of the staff, everything was absolutely impeccable. It is with a very heavy heart that I leave, because the METT Barcelona is truly a place where you can disconnect, relax, and fully enjoy your stay. The view is magnificent, the spa and the pool are extraordinary, and the breakfast was simply excellent. But what struck me the most was the kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism of the entire staff. Whether at the front desk, at breakfast, at the pool, with room service, or in the various hotel departments, everyone was very attentive. I would particularly like to mention Sye and Layek, two staff members who particularly struck me with their kindness, efficiency, and attention. Their welcome and professionalism really helped make my stay even more pleasant. Everything is clean, perfectly maintained, and very well organized. Room service is impeccable and I particularly appreciated the speed and professionalism of the room service: being able to order something à la carte and receive it in barely 15 minutes, with such attentive service, is truly appreciated. I am leaving almost with tears in my eyes, with this feeling of not wanting to leave the hotel. It is rare to feel this good somewhere in such a short time. Thank you for everything, METT Barcelona.
