Four Points by Sheraton Barcelona Airport

"10 minutes to Barcelona Airport, convenient post Cruise Celebrity XCEL ❤️. Disembarked at 09:30 and went straight to the hotel they were very accommodating allowed us to have 2 rooms while the other 2 were being cleaned. So we took the train short walk from the hotel and spent the day exploring Barcelona. Freenow (lyft) 30 Euros back to the hotel in the evening. There was a slight mishap with the reservation which the evening Manager Ivan was able to resolve most graciously. The hotel is very clean, beds comfortable and rooms are spacious. Flat screen TV, and There is a rooftop Bar and Pool, The Service was excellent would definitely recommend this hotel and book it again in the future."

"When booking this hotel I read reviews and mostly they were positive - so we booked. However please read this if you are staying here during warm months. Check in was very pleasant and our room was ideally ready early - we were delighted. When we arrived we couldn’t get the air con to work and we rang reception to get help. They said they would send someone up. I looked up the hotel again at this point and saw on Google reviews all the mentions of the dodgy A/C. I did not see this prior and would not have booked if I had realised! They did not send anyone and about 3-4 hours later we went to reception and asked for help again. Maintenance arrived and insisted it was just our room and the filter was clear. Our room had been deemed unhealthy air quality by the monitor but we were told this was incorrect and an error on monitor. We could physically feel the effect of the air and it was not pleasant. We had the air con ‘on’ for 4-5 hours at this point but it said 0 hours. They allowed us to check another rooms air con before changing us and it was cooler in there but still not properly working and got warmer during the evening / night. We had an early 3am start so tried getting some sleep but there was music blasting from somewhere, our room appeared next to an empty lot so I can only assume it was from a nearby property or else the rooftop bar. If you are an airport hotel, surely most people are there for sleep or set down before / after flights? Very bizarre. Honestly, if you are looking for a decent sleep and air con during warmer months stay WELL clear of this place. Please don’t insult guests and insist this is a random once off problem when there are numerous reviews which state dodgy AC."

"This was our second time at this hotel and it was every bit as good as the first , we chose it for a one night stopover prior to our cruise from Barcelona . The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are very nice with fabulous shower . Good transport link to central Barcelona by train , station close by, which is very cheap . Outlet mall with many trendy brands very close to hotel if bargains are your thing as are some decent restaurants. Special thanks to Luna and Soraya behind the reception, they are super friendly and helpful, they printed our cruise luggage labels, gracias. If returning to Barcelona we would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again ."
