Pension La Calma

"This place was completely misleading and felt like a scam. The room advertised on Booking looked nothing like what we received. It was supposed to have a nice city view, but in reality, there was a tiny, dirty 2-square-meter space covered in pigeon droppings — the so-called “Juliette balcony.” The view was of a neglected corner, not a city. We even encountered huge cockroaches in the room. I’ll attach photos below if it gonna let me. The smell in the room was unbearable. The bedding was full of hair and lint, and the bed had metal bars like a cage — it was disgusting. We didn’t even feel comfortable using the shower. If the property had uploaded real photos, we would never have booked even one night. The walls had signs of mold, and the door was old and shabby. Everything felt neglected and unhygienic."

"THe best thing about the hotel is its location for the price you are paying. Marvin the hotel receptionist is really helpful and easily contactable. A bit tricky to find and in a quite old building, but if you are in the Jewish quarter and the amount you are paying you should expect that. But overall the Location is just amazing"

"Great service and hospitality! Marvin was a great host, very attentive, and accommodating. The location was great as it wasn't a far walk to the port and to restaurants. The room was clean and the fan was helpful during the hot night. "
