Leonardo Hotel Las Ramblas

"Worst service I have ever experienced, reception do not greet you when you walk into hotel. Other guests were discussing there disbelief at how rude and unhelpful staff were. You could ring reception 100 times when there is 3 staff there, and they will not answer and when they finally do even if its the similiest question like what time is breakfast theyll try say come to reception if you have a question its bizzare. Towels for the pool are kept on first floor and pool is on 5th so you have to go down to go up even though there is a bar and lots of space to keep them up there and make it easier for guests. Breakfast is not worth the money, avoid. Location is great and barcelona is a beautifully city with great food and great service - just wont find it at this hotel. Worst experience ive ever had. honestly stay clear if you want to enjoy your holiday. Last time we were in barcelona was earlier this year and we stayed in Hotel Portal De Angel on las ramblas, 5 mins away service was incredible, staff couldnt do more, pool was always open, breakfast was 10/10."

"We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Las Ramblas and overall our experience was really very positive. The location is very convenient: the hotel is located a few steps from the Rambla and is well connected to easily reach the main areas of Barcelona. However, it is located on a side street off the Rambla which, especially late at night, can feel a bit isolated. At the reception we were welcomed very well, in particular by a young man who spoke perfect Italian and who was very kind in giving us information and advice. He had suggested that we be a little careful in the evening and avoid returning too late. Actually, during our stay, one evening we heard several noises coming from the street and another evening some shouting due to what seemed like a small argument. Nothing that compromised the stay, but it is certainly an aspect to keep in mind. As for the hotel, however, we were really satisfied. The property is very clean, modern, well-maintained, and well-organized. The only small negative point is the presence of only one elevator to reach the rooms, which at times can be a bit inconvenient. Our room was spacious, extremely clean, and very modern, with lots of lighting and air conditioning that worked perfectly. We particularly appreciated the small touches: upon our arrival we found fresh fruit and every day a new bottle of water was left for us. The bathroom was also beautiful: very spacious and modern, with a really large shower, a nice glass partition, a very well-kept mirror, and all the necessary comforts. Another strong point is the rooftop pool, perfect for those who want to spend a few hours of tranquility without leaving the hotel. There are also sun loungers and we were even provided with flip-flops, a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. In conclusion, it is a hotel that we liked a lot, especially for the cleanliness, the modernity of the rooms, the comfort, and the kindness of the staff. The location is very convenient for visiting Barcelona; I would only recommend a little caution when returning very late at night. Overall, a definitely positive stay and a property that I would recommend."

"Excellent buffet breakfast. Excellent helpful staff. Good location. Rooftop bar and pool very relaxing after a day’s sightseeing. With reasonably priced drinks and food. Marked only 4 out of 5 as there was a water supply issue whilst we were there. Would definitely stay again if in Barcelona. ."
