"Id like to warn people about dealing with this hotel as i booked in this place but coukd not get access to the hotel after waitng 40 mins and ringing phone number and emailing them i got no reply .i contacted booking .com and all i got was the run around from them saying contact the hotel whom were not replying .i booked another hotel and left to go there and then i found my card had been debitted to sum of 199 euro even though their answer machine told me that the reception is closed on wk ends .still have had no reply .DO NOT BE ROBBED BY THEM LIKE THEY ROBBED ME OF MY MONEY AND THEY HAVE NOT THE DECENCY TO REPLY AND BOOKING .COM ARE NO BETTER ."

"Go somewhere else! You waste your money in there! We had a room next to the reception, so small and we couldn’t sleep at all as we could hear EVERYTHING from the reception as it was 1 metre from our room. We asked 4 time (at 1am the first time) to change the room… we needed to complain and eventually they changed the room, no even saying sorry…"

"Perfectly located: close to Barceloneta and to Via Laietana; a few steps from Barceloneta metro. Clean and silent Hotel. Breakfast at Hotel Santa Marta is delicious. We had a perfect stay at Hotel Lyon and hope to come back soon. "
