Negresco Princess

"Mixed feelings about this hotel. I didn’t book the hotel so I am not 100% sure which room we booked, but we booked as a group and all paid the same price. some of us got put in a standard internal room, others in a city view room. The internal room we has was 114 - AVOID!!!! I was awoken every day to smashing and crashing as they set up for breakfast. Considering we were woken up at the crack of dawn, we tried to have a sleep in the afternoon before we went out - yeah, that’s not possible as they then have a piano down there blasting. so its either crashing plates or loud piano. Apart from that the hotel was amazing. Fantastic location with fantastic bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Ten euro for a taxi to the beach, just flag one down outside. the roof top pool was a dream, heated. even though it was busy we still enjoyed every minute up there. and Steve the bartender was AMAZING!! the bottomless brunch is HIGHLY recommended; the food was fab. the platter would be enough we didn’t need a main after that. cocktails on tap, no complaints!! Comfy beds & Good aircon, strong water pressure. I wouldnt stay again in an internal room but i would 100% be back for the bar and the pool."

"We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was fantastic thanks to the lovely member of staff tha greeted us when we checked in. Everything we needed was available, including the best shower I have ever experienced. The free minibar was a lovely touch too. Everywhere in the hotel and room was spotless and there was a lovely atmosphere flowing throughout. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the rooftop bar is a beautiful area to sit and have a cold drink at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel and when we next return to Barcelona we will not hesitate to book in here again."

"Great hotel and wonderful stuff! The location was perfect…. easily accessible to all the sites we wanted to see in Barcelona. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only negative that we found was you could hear the street noise, so we had to sleep with earplugs and the pillows were flat. But overall a great room."
