Eurostars uHotel Ljubljana

"This is a lovely hotel, very high quality, the pictures don’t do it justice so it may have had a recent upgrade. We stayed for 3 nights in November and paid £270 through booking.com. We got a very large twin room from which we could see the nearby famous st Francis pink church. The room was super clean and beds very comfy. The bathroom was large and had a nice strong shower. They provided robes and slippers which we used for our trips up to the spa/wellness centre to use the pool and saunas. We responded to an email they sent us before we arrived to choose a slot each day. Breakfast was included and was available from 7.00-10.00 weekdays and 7.30-10.30 weekends. They had various teas, filter coffee and coffee machines, juices, smoothies, waters and milks. Cereals, fruits, yoghurts, porridge, pastries, breads/toasts, jams, chocolate spread, honey, etc. Hot foods included scrambled eggs, mini omelettes, fried eggs, boiled eggs, potatoes, roasted veg, sausages and bacon. There was also cheeses, cold meats, pickled veg, salad bits and sauces. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Easy to check in and out. Lifts available. WiFi was good, didn’t have any issues. The location was brilliant - only took us 3 mins to wander down to the main square and river. It made exploring the city much more comfortable as we could pop back for a little rest during the day if we needed and didn’t worry about walking home from restaurants in the evening. There is a little supermarket round the corner as well which is handy. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed here for 2 nights while on a tour. The rooms are very roomy with a TV, desk and a refrigerator but not many decorations. Our room had 2 twin beds pushed together to make a king and it had balcony. The shower in the bathroom is not totally enclosed so care was needed to no have the water spray everywhere. The hotel location was excellent for walking to the Old City, walking to the Castle and to the many restaurants along the river. It was especially nice walking down to the pedestrian way at night on the river when all of the lights are on. As to breakfast, the buffet was very good with many choices. There was a specialty coffee machine too."

"The hotel is the closest you can get to the old city by with great parking. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good. My only complaint is their gym facilities feature ancient equipment and was unusable. Don't they get it. Just get a simple stationary bike because the ones they had were horrible."
