"We was a great location in Porto. About a 5-7 minute walk down to the five front and several great restaurants in the small square adjacent to the hotel. Lifts are small but reliable. Bathroom on our room was a bit quirkly but we had nice city views outside of our room. Now, for travelers who need no-dairy options. The hotel was the only place we stayed on our trip with non-dairy yogurt options. Breakfast selections were a bit smaller in variety than other places but always fresh. We used the hotel to eat breakfast daily, but there were plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby for our other meals. Very safe many nice we strolled home around dark after a day full of exploring."

"Very central for the Sao Bento railway station or the Douro River with it's cafes & walks, though beware the hilly walking everywhere. Reception is open 24/7 & we arrived well after midnight but we did warn them in advance & our corner room on the 3rd floor was huge with glimpses of the river. Breakfast was very good, pastries, fresh fruit to go with cereal or youghurts, hams & cheeses with fresh rolls & a small selection of hot cooked breakfast all beautifully prepared by the ladies. No bottled water in the rooms & at mid night 1 complimentary bottle would have been nice, I didn't want to go back down to the vending machine by Reception, which does have a left luggage facility."

"Hotel with excellent location. Fantastic in terms of services. Very friendly and helpful employees. Breakfast with great variety and quality, especially the croissants always warm and freshly made!!! It was a fantastic stay, in an even more fantastic place, thank you for the excellent experience!!!"
