Hotel Ga Palace

"The G.A. palace hotel in Porto was opened a few years ago and they have perfected the art of hospitality. The location is excellent and close to many attractions ie a 15-20 min walk. The Deluxe rooms are gorgeous and large/spacious with top notch appliances and Bvlgari branded toiletry. The breakfast buffet was expansive with the staff able to accommodate dietary restrictions to a large degree. The food was delicious. The staff , who were among the best I have ever encountered were welcoming , and bent over backwards to accommodate requests with a smile - to a level which is admirable. If something was possible they would get it done. The following deserve mention: Kristina front -desk Anna Duarte - front desk Valentino Suraya breakfast André - dining room /breakfast. The GA Palace Porto should be at the top of any list for a trip to Porto- it’s that good!"

"We stayed here as part of a 15 day tour through Portugal. We're very experienced travelers and we loved this hotel. The hotel itself was beautifully designed with careful thought given to each element. We were very impressed when we entered our roomy king room with a balcony overlooking the pool/restaurant. The marble clad bath was immaculate with a large walk in shower and all the amenities you could want. The bed was a perfect blend of soft and support covered by luxury linens. And the staff was engaging, helpful and wonderful to deal with. Location wise, it was perfect with easy access to restaurants and shops."

"When I chose this hotel, I was looking for a hotel with a pool, thinking we would have time to relax in Porto. As it turns out we had no spare time to enjoy the pool, although others at the hotel were totally enjoying it. We didn’t need the pool to love the hotel. We would totally recommend the hotel,the room was lovely. Most importantly the staff is exceptional."
