Riverside stay in Porto
You’ll find the Neya Porto Hotel beside the Duoro River in Porto’s Ribeira area. Here you’ll find cobbled streets dotted with small bars and classic eateries serving traditional cuisine like grilled sardines. It’s a feast for all the senses!
The hotel was previously a historical convent and was refurbished to respect the abbey’s original architecture. The 124 rooms are all beautifully decorated with a modern and contemporary look. There are also a few themed suites modelled on Portuguese icons. When you’ve finished exploring, why not head to the hotel spa? You can indulge in massages, holistic therapies, and aesthetic treatments.
Viva Porto, the hotel’s restaurant, offers unrivalled views of the Duoro River. Here you can experience Portuguese fine dining with dishes made using only the season's freshest ingredients. When it’s time to watch the sunset, head on up to the hotel bar, Último, and enjoy a cocktail or two with friends. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and reminisce about your incredible holiday.

What Neya Porto Hotel has to offer
Ferreira Borges Market
Originally built in 1885 to replace the old Mercado da Ribeira, it has never actually fulfilled its function as a market. It’s now used for cultural exhibitions and fairs, as well as musical events and concerts – be sure to check the schedule during your trip.
Ribeira Square
This vibrant district is a must-see when visiting Porto – especially during golden hour. Here you’ll find colourful architecture and restaurants with tables and chairs spilling out onto the streets while diners enjoy a glass of wine in the sun.
Casa da Música
Just a 15-minute cab ride from the hotel is the striking Casa da Música. Book onto a tour and you’ll be able to explore both the incredible exterior and the inside. Why not grab tickets to a classical music performance while you’re there?
