Portus Cale Hotel

"Located just outside of the city, the hotel is extremely spacious and very clean to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious , the beds are comfortable, very clean and decorated to a high spec. While we stated, the hotel was not too busy, the breakfast room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was lovely. Great value for money The staff were very polite, the reception staff were extremely helpful and gave us lots of information of where and what to see especially Nunu. Highly recommend"

"Staff all lovely and very attentive. Hotel Spotless. Rooms cleaned around the clock. Lovely cafe next door. Downside rooms very noisy. Walls paper thin. Not very central. Reception staff are also bar staff that cant make cocktails although cocktail bar advertised. They also make the food at the bar which is substandard."

"Lovely hotel, used the Metro to travel around the city and there was a free bus that dropped us off by the ocean. Hotel is clean, comfortable and very good value for money. Close by to some restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts as well. The city of Porto was also a joy and well worth a visit. Not expensive either. Would definitely recommend this hotel"
