"Perfectly located in the centre of Porto, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Once through the doors you enter a sanctuary of calm, away from other tourists and the hubbub of Porto. On arrival, all hotel amenities were well explained in perfect English and a very useful map with many recommendations marked on it was provided before being shown to our room. Aircon was good, the small kitchen had everything you’d need if you were looking to self cater, and most importantly a nespresso coffee machine. The bed was comfortable, and the room quiet and dark, so we slept very well here after traipsing up and down Porto’s hills all day. It’s not cheap, but not overly expensive, so pretty fairly priced for what you get. We don’t use the gym or spa facilities but my only “complaint” is that there are several photos of a pool in various places online where you can book this hotel, but it doesn’t seem to be in operation any more."

"This is NOT a 4 star hotel. Sofa bed damp and very uncomfortable. Kitchen and bathroom extremely out of date. Paint work shabby and needs sorting. Curtain on front door filthy. Only good thing is the location and the reception staff. Not a good deal for the money spent."
