"A great experience at the hotel. Everything was spotless and it smelt amazing everywhere in the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant and constantly looked after by the staff. A huge shout out to the wonderful lady who looks after the spa. She was so warm and welcoming. It was the best massage I have ever had in my life. Highly recommended. The only slight downside was how noisy the spa was at times with groups of people, but I understand it is hard for the hotel to manage that. Most the time it was fine. My room was kept spotlessly clean and the turndown service was a nice touch. Highly recommended."

"Lovely new hotel. Very clean. Good size bedroom and big walk in shower room. Sea view room on 5th Floor. Big balcony. Very friendly staff. Breakfast good. Egg station for fried eggs and omelettes plus pancakes. Sparkling wine and orange juice if required. Usual continental breakfast items plus bacon and little sausages. Efficient breakfast staff clearing tables. Didn’t try restaurant meals. Didn’t use the bars or the spa. Situated a little way out of Funchal but a nice walk in. Good restaurants nearby. A good choice of hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. We had half board, both breakfast and evening meal were very enjoyable with excellent service. Complimentary soft drinks were included at the table and in the room which was a nice surprise. The hotel was really clean and it was clear that staff were proud to work there. The hotel has two pools, one indoor and one outdoor. Both with good access. A steam room, sauna and well equipped gym were also available. The room has some nice features such as cooling fan as well as the air conditioning. For those that need it the room also has a three pin plug socket. Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the room as well as a small fridge. The location of the hotel is also good being close to the Madeira shopping forum with a large supermarket open 7 days a week and local bus stops."
