The hotel is in an excellent spot for diving, with the largest house reef in Madeira on the doorstep. If you’re a certified diver, you can join guided day and night dives, although there’s training if you’re a first-timer, and it’s a great location to learn.
There’s a restaurant with the option to dine indoors or outside on the sea view terrace. There are two bars (try the local Maderia wine) and remember to note that Happy Hour kicks off every day at 5pm. If you’re looking for more options, you’ve got plenty of choices in Caniço, where there’s a palm-lined promenade for evening strolls and dining.
