"Very clean hotel but quite basic. We were booked into a superior double but whether our room was superior remains to be seen. Very very small. No drawers or cupboards so lived out of suitcases. TV on the wall was sort of built into mirror. You could see yourself whilst watching but there wasn’t any room for a freestanding tv anyway. Carpet in lift was very dirty so not the best when coming in and out, Hadnt booked breakfast (room only). All the hot food was cold every day. Did complain but nothing was done. Went to adjoining bistro and this was 100% better. Very noisy outside day and night with sirens from police and ambulances. One very strange thing was the toilet rolls which were under a see through cover on the tables in reception. Yes it was the WC Hotel but still very weird for us from the UK. Staff were brilliant and very pleasant and helpful. Sister hotel across the road was far better. It had a lovely bar which ours didn’t Hotel not for us"

"I stayed four nights at the this hotel while in Lisbon in September 2025 and absolutely loved it. The quirky theme seemed odd to me when looking online but I booked it based on price and was pleasantly surprised when I showed up. It is a really nice hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and check in went smooth. My room was in a corner of the hotel so had a circle bed. There was plenty of space for one person but think it would have been a little tight if two people were sharing the room. It was kept immaculately clean he whole time I was there. The hotel itself was quiet( no noisy guests) however, it is located on the corner of a busy street, so I could hear some outside noises (sirens, the tram going by..etc) from the 2nd floor. If you are a light sleeper request a room on the top floor. I know this has been mentioned in other reviews, but I do want to reiterate that the bathroom is incorporated in the room. There is no door separating the bathroom from the rest of the space. The toilet is behind a foggy glass door, the shower is behind another glass door that only has the foggy area going across the middle and the sink is out in the open. I had my own room, so it was no big deal, however, this set up offers no privacy so consider this if you are sharing the space with someone else I was a little hesitant when booking because so many reviews indicated that the area was a little sketchy. You can tell the difference between this area and the "high end" neighborhood of Lisbon, but there is nothing wrong with the location of the hotel. There are so many cafes, restaraunts, and little shops within walking distance and I never felt unsafe. Depending on where you are headed it's only a 20-30 min walk to get to the center of Lisbon. The metro station is right across the street and a tram stop is nearby if you don't want to walk or pay Uber/ Bolt prices. I enjoyed my stay and if I were to visit Lisbon in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again!"

"Really great service! We arrived a bit before check in and staff was super accommodating, room was very comfortable and extremely clean. Great location to easily walk to anywhere in Lisbon. Also very accessible from public transportation, right outside the Intendente metro stop. Only consideration is that toilette and shower are fairly visible from bed so take that into account for families."
